We did a bit of family bonding doing Jam tarts/Pineapple tarts..my all time favourite.. YUM!!! The 1st round didnt turn out alright.. we had to throw it all away... it wasnt worth it until we saw how irritated my aunt got.. cos she's extremely tired.. and she had to stay up helping us do sh*t which wasnt gonna turn out...
So we tried it again the next day..and it was EXCELLENT....(to me la.. cos i helped)..
Upon baking the last 2 trays..
Mom: ok let's count how many pieces we have...
Me: MOM!!!!!!...why do u wanna do that....
Mom: So that you all wont eat so much and at least there is some left BY CNY
Me: MOM.. we made it so we can eat it ok.. no need go give ppl eat ok..
Mom: NO!!!
Me: go la...go .. my as well open the safe and keep all the tarts inside until CNY
Mom: U THINK I WONT AH!!!!

hehe. did you get to have some? i made double choc cookies yesterday. wanted to give them to someone as a present but figured that she could whip up something way better than what i made so ate a bit myself and shared the rest with the family. everyone was wow-ed by it. pre-mixes. bloody good invention =)
