So... my friends and I went to Kuala Gandah, Pahang for a day trip to see.... ELEPHANTS!!!! my homies!!!!!! I didnt know that place even existed until Eric mentioned it at Shah's Party.. They decided to accomodate me on my off days.. so i could tag along.. and thanks to shah, we found this beautiful place...
SO .... it's about 1.5 hours drive from KL, you hit the new highway from Gombak - Kuantan highway, just ignore the bentong/raub turn off and go straight ahead, you see a Lanchang tol turn off. After the toll, there is a Tjunction, hit right and follow the road and you will see alot schools on the left.. You will need a 4 wheel to drive in because the tar road isnt all that good.... So it's kinda windy and all that for about 4 - 8 km and then you come to some orang asli settlement (which is a dead end and a village like setup and when you look right, you can see the sanctuary dy....errr.. the guide given by Journey malaysia wasnt that bad but it was a bit confusing..

Anyway..... you will get to view a short documentary about the elephants and all that (we missed that cos we only arrived at 2 pm odd)... then they will bring the elephants out to bath... or err just washing the mud away from their body... and this chick here... err her name is Mentopyan, from errr.. i dont know.. Myanmar??.. i wasnt listening.. i think she is 21... now she's quite matured already .. so when they bath her.. they asked her to lay down.. which was what she did...

see.... not only that.. she play dead.. hahaha

errr but she took a crap while playing dead... hey.. something i could have done as well... i didnt notice till eric told me.. and he said the amount was as big as a wheel barrow.. ¬.¬ duh..
Eric: look at that .. she took a crap while lying down
me: Where???
Eric: duhhhh... there..
me: errrrrrr yuck...
Eric: That's alotttt you know..
me: it's an elephant you know.. you expect the shit to be as small as ours?
Eric: Yah...
me:¬.¬''

So after bathing it's feeding time, the elephants are being chained to the ground so that they wont stomp on us and we will feed them fruits.. various fruits.. and seen here is Abot who hates papaya.. she'll spit it out if it was fed to her...

the kids having fun... touching Mehtopyan

And one of my friend, Grace .... who i thought was bold because she was the 1st one to que up for an elephant ride... and hell breaks loose...

.... we got up.... which was scarry .. and our legs were being pricked by the hairy elephant. Now the place doesnt stink, but the guides there does... so she had to cling onto him for balance.. so imagine.....
The ride is less than 20 seconds they just go in small circles and the entire journey felt like 20 years because as soon as i got up the elephant, the only thing Eric heard was all vulgarity from me and screaming from Grace... ¬.¬ ......
After the short ride, then the elephants will take the guest to a manmade river and just play with them in the water, so that was good.. i didnt go in the water because my skin has allergy and i didnt want to have any skin rashes, so none of us went in and my camera had to go dead.. so the last pictures taken was when the lil ones came out and roam freely.... boy were they cute

Now that one is a grumpy one.... he was soooo grumpy cos he was so noisy.. and i guess Grace was trying to bully him.. .. and he continuously made noise until he was brought to the man-made pool to play with the rest...
My camera batt went dead... so for more info, click here for the original webbie. shucks... but it was really a trip worth while... So check it out la peeps... i would definately recommend it to tourist in Malaysia. CHUN ah!!!!!
