Well the traditional way done amongst he indians and muslims are simply beautiful.. and these are art crafted on your skin during festive seasons and mostly done in weddings to the bride's hands and even feet... the leaves are grind/crushed to produce the juice and mixed with water (no idea any other added stuff). It becomes goo-ey. Now this requires high skills cos of the art to be places on your hand... it's not just smacking the stuff in your hand.... so you will have to get the right prop like a pen-like container to pour the stuff in and be able to draw on a person's hand/skin delicately... so this is something like what will come out of it for a muslim wedding.
See.. the delicate design on the hand? actually this stuff can also dye your hair to some reddish colour.. but .. u dont wanna do that cos the smell of the leaves can be quite umm.... unbearable..

seee ..... cool huh??? So my colleague who is also celebrating Deepavali bought some to the office and forced us all to get one done on some parts of our body.... So i had no choice la.. ¬.¬ ... it's so advance these days ... they come in MOLDs??!!??! So here goes.. you put the mold on the hand.. and apply henna/inai on top of it.. so the stuff will fill the gap....
and then.... just for an unbearable 20 minutes... cos the inai/henna will dry up and it will itch .. but not bad huh.... to make it darker, you will have to apply twice or wait longer like maybe an hour... WTF!!!
The smell is not my cup of tea.... so imagine how did this girl wait... and infact she had to attache her hands together ??? i think this effect takes about.... like maybe 1.5 hours of waiting... WTF?? but nice ........
