A family friend of me parents passed away today... my parents were friends for 35 years... They're close ...i think my gramps know their gramps... u know what i mean???
Anyway.. his name is Freddie, Freddie Ng and he passed on today at the age of 59 - of a heart attack. The doctors in IJN had actually just verified that his heart is in a healthy condition... unfortunately, he collapsed in a bank today. No one came forward to help and he was left to die, sprawled on the floor helplessly.
I went to the funeral parlour after work and sat in to pay my last respect... His wife, Aunty Shyan keep reiterating - 'uncle is not here anymore'... All i could utter was just to take care and be strong... I then moved forward to her kids and told them to take care of their mom. My mom on the other hand was crying endlessly too.. I guess my mom felt the loss too..
Just yesterday i remembered them days i sat on the backseat of his then classic Mercedes and yakking away with his sons... also, our short trips to frasers hill... of course, not to forget the ago-go pants, high cut with huge bell bottoms, fluffed up hair... memories... all memories...
May you rest in peace Uncle Freddie.
