Yani ?

Hrmm..... my new nick name at home... YANNI.. or Yani..sound pretty much like an indonesian name... that's what my brother calls me now.. I still cant get over his home name or rather his nick name..... we call him in doubles.. maybe cos he is fat/huge.. Shawn shawn.. thats what we all call him... I sometimes tend to forget that not to call him that in public or in front of his friends..

Let me go through the histories of his nicknames and mine.. and then we started naming all his other friends and my other friends nick name we call on the spot... ie...

The Family
Mum - Lo mi ( as in old mother)
Dad - Lo Di (old dad .. but when we call both of them we call Melody..to save some time...)
Pam(my sister) - lo pam or fats...
Myself - Lo yen, and now Yanni.. or sometimes Fei Yen (fat yen) or.. just fats....
Shawn - Shawnie .. shawn shawn.. Fei mau(fat cat)... lo shawn or fei jai (fat boy)
Pepper(my ex-dog) - Lo per...
Wendy(our dear cousin) - fei wen (we stop calling her that when she lost weight) Lo Wen
Aunty Winnie - Lo E (old aunty... she isnt that old la...)

Some of my friends (some of it given by the president of nickname giver Annie)
Pearly - we wanted to call her in lo per.. but my dog has it already.. so we call her parimalar...
irene - Poh G (because her original name in chinese means pearl...)
Annie - Poh G (that's not her original name.. but the 'g' in chinese also meant pig)
Mei mei - Gan moi/mia mia
Li Lee - Gan lia/Lia lia (yes they are twins...)
Lee Heng Pin - Lee Heng Pia
Lee Heng Tard - Lee Pan tat
Soon Peng Herng - Soon Piang
Md Noor - Woo Sou Kia (boy with the beard..)
Vincent - Fee lau (his family name... but i call him Ah fee)
Emily - Emi or emilymiao(simply because she loves cat so much .....)

The names above is mostly given by Annie, one of my buddy at work ... i think she just wanted to add the kick of authentic chinese origins... like 'piang eh!!!!.... or some Pong Pia' thingy..

Christian - tai lap mak (big moley.. cos he really had one)
Matthew - Pandi
Andy - Also Pandi
Chin Wei - Cheen Wei (the Chin if pronounced in a different manner it meant something like bitchy)
Clement - mang kai (skinny bones)
Ryui Bynn - Heng Li
Heng Li - Ryui Bynn (simply because i get so confuse.. not cos they look a like.. just that their face suit each other's name instead of their own..)
Anyone Fat or maybe fatter than us - Fei Hem
